    1903 gunsmith in Tucson, AZ?

    Guys,

Does anyone know of a gunsmith in the Tucson, AZ area who knows a bit about 1903s?

I have a new C-stock that I'd like to install on my mix-master Springfield '03. I took her to a local (now out-of-business) gun store last time, and their 'smith did not seem to know what he was doing...so this time, I'd prefer to take it to someone more knowledgeable.

    Thanks!

if your trying to have a repro C stock fitted, good luck, i will no longer fit any stock made by Boyds do to the poor fitting, and over size issue.
they have cured some of those issues, but by the time you pay someone to fit the stock, and finish it,....you could have spent less money, and got a original GI issue stock.
many of Gunsmiths like myself that will work on Milsurps rifles, and been hard educated on the Boyds stocks issues.

Try asking at Second Amendment Sports ( the old Jensons gun store on pims st.), or Murphy's Guns at ft. lowell and contry club. If you've never been in Murphy's , It's worth it just to look at all the stuff hanging high on the walls.

Nope, not a Boyds stock; I've read too many horror stories!

Thanks, I'm familiar with both of those stores. Murphy's is a classic gun store, no doubt!
