    M1A1 Stock Question

Were new m1A1 stocks manufactured by the original supplier to Inland or by any other supplier to the government following the end of WWII? If so, is there any difference between WWII and postwar manufactured M1A1icon stocks? Do m1A1 stocks have any other manufacturer markings than IO? Thanks, Frank

As far as I know, no postwar M1A1icon stocks were manufactured (at least for the military).

Only S.E. Overton made stocks for the M1A1icon during WW2. Post war stocks were made by Springfield Armory as well as stocks made overseas by Italyicon and Greece.
