    sling swivel

Note the location of the relocated sling swivel on the buttstock of the M28A1 TSMG - this type of relocated sling swivel is typical of Australianicon usage and not US Army

They're Aussies. Look at the uniforms. The bloke in the fore ground is wearing a cellular weave shirt and American style gaiters. They are also wearing the tropical hat. Very cool piccy.

We've seen this pic before. Are you sure they're Aussies? They were proud of their #1 rifles. They made them until about 1950. Used them in jungle warfare and the Owen gun more than Thompsons??? I'm sure those are American.

I thought the M1icon was used on a limited basis by specialised troops. Like the M1 carbine was. I could be (probably am) wrong.

I don't know which would be worse, loading all those clips by hand for someone else or loading all the BAR mags from clips without the charger. Or maybe preparing a case of grenades without a table to work on.
