Help with 1903a3 bolt

Received a 1903a3 today. Never saw one before. Came with wrong manual. But how tough could it be to slide bolt into receiver? I slid bolt in but it stopprd short. Now I can't.remove bolt Have cutoff in middle position. Safety won't move. Bolt won't move in or out. Bolt won't move up or down. Extractor appears to be on top of bolt in its current position. Did i do something stupid when I first inserted bolt? Help please.

Sounds from your description you have the extractor in the wrong position. If so....Try GENTLY bumping the bolt handle with a hard plastic mallet or, use a wooden hammer handle, to get it back out. Don't hit sideways, the bolt will try to do that all by itself when hit, so keep pressure to the side and toward the rear with your off hand when hitting it. Don't be too timid to whack it, but DON'T hit it like you are trying to drive a 20P nail with 2 whacks !! If you have no joy, show us a pic of the situation and we can go from there.
