just wanted to show this knife to everyone

nearly finished this knife, i just need to run it over with the polisher and a final buff and there you go! done. i think the mirror finish was the hardest thing about it to do. made it from an old tile cutting saw blade, hardened it further in a campfire, it is razor sharp and holds the edge really well, its pretty hard steel though and used 4 hacksaw blades to cut it out, made the handle from an old table leg i had in the shed. assembled the handle and started sanding...... 3 months of weekends working on it a few hours at a time i think the end result was worth the effort what do you guys think?

If it is your first knife, you might want to stamp it. Maybe a 1, 001, XX1, logo and 1, whatever you like. As or if you make more, up goes the number. Maybe you can keep track in your head. But if you hand them down to kids or grandkids? Maybe start a business making and selling knives?

I met a guy who was just starting out making knives at a gun show 24 years ago. Some of his new designs now he uses an old file. They look cool. He made a business out of it. Charges big dollars too, must be a pretty healthy market out there for custom knives.
