    Something you don’t see everyday.

It’s a .250-3000 Savage Niedner barrel Sedgley stock and action.

Very nice! Can you determine how much the receiver has been shortened?

    Nice,

Thanks for posting the pics, I enjoy seeing quality work like you always show. Kinda weird that they shortened the action rather than fill a magazine box as most do.

I need a set of scope bases like that with the pin locator rather than the 1/2 moon cutout on the right side. Let me know if you run across any spares !!

    Thanks again,

    Emri

The rifle is not mine so I don't know how much was removed. I've seen this on more Sedgley 22-Hornets than anything else.

Emri, You can get all the scope bases you need from Steve Earl, just tell him what you need it for and which scope. Very high quality work at a fair price.

    scope blocks

    Thanks Michael !!

Those do look like fine mounts. It is a nice looking website that I will explore further. I'd be sure that if they can machine a Frank Wesson single shot action, the scope bases should be top notch items.

    Thanks again,

    Emri

    Steve Earl

    Emri:

Rest assured that Steve is as good a guy a Michael says, and his work is just as good, too.

I, and others on this forum, have used him many times; I've never heard a bad word about him.

I'm told that just a tad over one inch was removed.
