Rare??? I have two, can touch a third with a phone call and have seen them at recent gunshows. But maybe some people just like to collect "rare" items. I tend towards well done, myself.

Twenty years ago here in Florida there was a pile of them at every gun show for at least several months. I got one myself, but they were certainly not rare at one time, and they must have been released from some place all at once. They were about $20 each at the time, so the price increase to $50 is not that great over the intervening years.
