They aren't wearing helmets. The ones with the nets have the same hat as the one without the net getting a light.

I just think it's some form of enemy force on exercise. That's typically how we would dress our enemy force. Something recognizable but different from the main force.

Op-For. I agree those are shots during training exercises. The hats are call Daisy-Mays I think.

Spot on Bill..Daisy Maes they are indeed...and those look like like the one piece issue suit..rather than the 2 piece suits.
