Don't understand?

bought a very nice inland for a great price,took it home strip it.ok the gas piston froze any thing i try still won,t move.put it back together thanking it,s not going to work.to my surprize shot 30 rds perfect,must have unstuck piston,strip it piston still froze so some of you guys that know about carbines lot more then me what gives?
first post great forum,glad i found it.

It's just a tight fit in the gas block. Don't worry. It will free up in a thousand rounds...or so. You don't have to clean it like that anyway.

The gas that is pushed through the port with a single shot is a lot more than you could shoot through it with any air nozzle or WD40 or Hoppes #9. If it bothers you that it is tight, soak it with #9 and then take it out and put a few rounds through it and my bet is it will free up a bit.

The little carbine was designed to work in adverse conditions. Amazing what 40,000 psi can do to free up stuck parts, isn't it?

Most NOS G.I. barrels will have the piston like that. Almost all you nee to do is shoot them. You know what is it going to hurt? I only remember one late WRA barrel that took more than one shot to break loose. It broke loose on the second shot. So just shoot it don't worry about it. Bill
