DEMO, You just caught me cleaning one, so a few minutes strip and the answer is NO.
Pleased I did the additional strip, the buildup of crud was immense. More work for a geriatric.

TBONE, Still got mine in front of me, glasses on, magnifer in hand and that's still a no.
Mine's a ROF (F) S/N. P7266, the only marks under the woodwork a couple of proofmarks and inspection stamps.

I've stripped one or two and re-barrelled a couple and I say NO.

My 1947 Fazackerly is (On the left side of the Knox form) and it looks factory applied to me.

I´ve still got the original barrel on my Faz No. 5. No number (it´s now got a Lothar Walther barrel as the original one let a gauge drop half way down from the muzzle).

Just looked at my No5 Mk1(F) 1/47 manufacture and yes it does have a matching serial number as does the forend wood work.

My March '46 Faz barrel is engraved with serial number near the knoxform (under the hand guard) and looks to be the same style as the factory engraving of receiver and bolt.
