    IC1 action.

Hi guys, I've had a Martini action in my collection for a while and I've decided I need to find out some more about it.

It is marked Crown VR Enfield 1887 acceptence mark I.C.1.

I believe this may mean Interchangable Carbine mk1. Having looked on the net, it appears the mk1 should be much older than the 1887 date? Or is it that the Mk1 carbine was much later than the Mk1 rifle? Also, does anyone have a photo of a complete IC1?

I also have a ME 303 ACII converted from a MkIII.

    cheers, chris.
