    Unhappy Carbine Stock

I have a ser#2977xxx Inland nice gun but I think the stock is incorrect, it is very nice shape but in the slingwell it has O-RMC and on the stock right before the slingwell it has what looks like the top part of a R and the top part of a A with no crossed cannons. If it is the wrong stock does any one have a nice Inland stock to trade?

    twister, welcome to the forum.
There are some of the most knowledgeable carbine people here that you will find anyware.
I believe your Inland should have an oval cut highwood OI stock. I sold a beauty awhile back.
That slingwell stamp is Q-RMC, made by Rock-Ola for Quality Hardware. The stamp outside the slingwell sound like a post war rebuild stamp.
Is it a highwood and does it have a cross cannon stamp on the right side? Pics would help.....Frank
