Citrastrip another great recommendation from you guys.

I have a butt stock that was sanded and varnished. I wanted to remove the varnish without further damaging the markings. After reading about it here I decided to try Citrastrip and was absolutely amazed at how well it worked. It completely striped the varnish in one application with no raised grain and with out further removing what color that remained it the stock. A quick hit with 0000 steel wool (probably unnecessary but habit) and it is ready for the linseed oil.
