    1903 with Pedersen Cut out

Im looking at a Springfield 1903 with a Pedersen cut out at a local shop. Can someone help me out with which parts I should look for to see if it's all original? Ive done a little research and know that the stock should have finger grooves and something with the trigger should be different. I dont recall any details on the rifle right now but will be going back soon to look at it. I own a RIA 1903 and hope I can use that to compare. If someone could post some comparison pictures that would be great. Thanks to all that help!

This photo shows the cut-off and trigger/sear combo. I believe the cut-off spindle is different also, ya just can't see it.

    Smile You Made My Day

    Promo,

Many thanks for the fine JPEG, IDing the inards of an unaltered MK I. with out the need to tear the weapon down.

I recently aquired a MK I, and was under the impression from what i read that, upon destroying the pedersen devices that all MK I's had been returned to the arsenals, and restored back to std. 03 configuration. My recent aquisition is in mint condition. Prior to finding your thread, I was looking thru VI-Shooter, for further info. I also wanted to report
to VI-shooter the serial no., and barrel date, but could not find the site (url).

Your JEPG confirmed that I had an original MK I. I've been waiting for a library loan of
" The Springfield Rifle " . Needless to say you made my day, Thanks
