    1942 SA M1 Garand

I have an M1icon Garand with a date of manufacture around April 1942. Would it have been issued with the 16" M1905 bayonet?

More than likely. Prob'ly all that any of the end users would have had in thier system at that time , I would think , if they had any TO issue then. I believe they did not have enough to go around during this period .

Also, remember that in the Pacific theater the guys preferred 16" to 10" since the Japs had long bayonets.
