I've read the book. It was quite a behind enemy lines, operation. On a side note some of the POW's were not sure that they were Americans because of their size and they had never seen the uniforms they were wearing. Thanks for the pic snafu.....Frank

I have not read the book , but they made a movie about it that I have seen. It was pretty good and I heard the action scenes were very close to the real thing . They had to throw in a love and die sub plot , don't know if it's true , but I'd suspect not .
