I thought they were West German icon

or Dutch.

Maybe it was Dutch. That sounds better. I do have red plastic blacks that came from Norway icon

though. Haven't seen the Dutch ones.

I used one like that once in a reenactment and it was fine. It's my understanding that the US never fielded a blank adapter for the carbine.
