Very nice, I've been thinking about picking one up recently. Yours is very attractive and I assume the bore is great?
Also, what is stamped on the crest? M48 or M48A?

Even better- the M48s are a bit less common than others; just under 100,000 were produced in 1952. This can be referenced on page 171 of Serbian and Yugoslav Mauser Rifles by Brank Bogdanovic. It's one of the better northcape publications books out there. I highly recommend it if you don't already have it, especially if you are going to be dealing with Yugoicon rifles a bit. Beyond that, it's relatively in experience (I think it's around $20 or so on Amazon or Brownells) and considering how commonly Yugos tend to be encountered, not a bad thing to read up on anyway.

    Anyway, very nice specimen!
