Looks like someone took a file to a rusty spot. Is there a dark spot in the bore where the defect is?

bore is nice and shinny ya its been messed with rear site base was removed stock was hacked on for a redfield peep site, serial number on bolt doesnt match action. i thought about making it into a scout style rifle but now wanting a new barrel probably from hart and blue the whole thing.

I guess bent and fixed. Perhaps a slight barrel bulge. Really hard to tell, but barrel looks doubtful to me.
