Nice 49 Long Branch

Finally connected on a 1949 Long Branch in Walnut, VG condition. I believe this one made a trip to Belgium and back.

The back sight is not LB marked, the prior owner switched it out, he provided it to me.

No, that is an orphan I found a couple of years ago. I am putting the kit back together piece by piece with an LB L42 Project. The REL is one of the MK3 scopes that was upgraded to L1A1 spec.

No pads & no visible screw holes, what looks like the PH front sight base, almost certainly a "home-built" "L39/Envoy" which may become an "Project 42" rather than an L42
