Nice, Transition carbines are my favorite. I have eight 5.4 Inlands. One is 5,456,34x, very close to yours.
There is also a supernice transitional Inland on Auction Arms right know...
Yeah that one on auction arms is nice, looks exactly like mine, but costs $500 more, lol!
I think you accidently put a picture of another carbine up, pic 11 shows one with a type 1 band. Otherwise, looks like a nice 5.4 inland. Any DCM paperwork with it?
These are great ways to get an original as the round bolt, 4 rivet handguard, type 2 or 3 sights mean that Bobby Partswapper is going to pass, thinking that it has been rebuilt. The push safety and type 2 bands tip the hand, but Mr Partswapper is too smart to fall for that. He has a whole bin full of Riverbank junk just waiting for a home.
These also are close to the perfection of the design, all of the mistakes have been made and fixed by this time. The recent CC issue on this block also gives a blow by blow description of what is correct and what is not. As I said, I cannot wait to get my hands on that 5.4 Inland.
You have a beautiful carbine there.
The bolt looks like it was Parkerized at some point. This usually indicates a rebuild.
