    Now that's a bargain!

Wow, a genuine ENFIELD 303 BRIT EMPIRE 1895-1957 NO1 MK 11 PNG, and with a Buy It Now price of only $1,100.00. Be still, my beating heart, where did I put the check book?

The seller hasn't called it a No.1 Mk.II (Mark Two), he has used two ones which makes it a Mark Eleven.

In fact it is neither - even if there was such as thing as a No.1 Mk.11. It looks like a scruffy old No.4 to me.

Interesting that it is listed in the "Antiques / pre-1899" category, too! Must be a very, very early trials No.IV. A special item indeed, worthy of such a price.
