Here are some photos of my Mosin that I picked up...
This critter came with the sling, bayo (non match) and ammo pouches. However, what excited me... was the "last ditch" feel to it!This rifle is dated 1943r. With SN:PE164. It is actually all matched!
It actually looks like it has a "seam" running through the center of the receiver.While it really isn't... it has a certain appeal to the quick manufacture of this rifle....
I noted that the stock looks like it is a 2 pc:
There are many cartouches all over the wood and metal...
The wood certainly won't rust..... with all the shellac applied to it!
