The R.I.A. barrel that I have is marked on the right side " 7.62MM R.I.A. 11686320. SPL. 6.69 . M118 P M DOD". The twist rate is not noted. Bill Ricca in his Summer 2010 GCAarticle on 7.62mm barrels states they are 1 in 12 , but that he can not confirm that.
Tsk, tsk, tsk... it would be the best $25 you ever spent. We are about to travel to CMPto research the 200 or so AFPG guns they have, and the results will be written up for a Journal article in the spring.
Real men measure once and cut.
So what does AFPG stand for?

Phil is correct, it's Air Force Premium Grade and that was their term for "National Match."

So Bob when will the CMPAFPG's be auctioned off??
