Question S&W spur trigger gun .. ammo recommendation?

I've bought this old S&W spur trigger gun. I want to use it very little and use the weakest type of bullet possible so i don't put pressure on it. The gun in question is my profile picture still strugglin to upload.

Above is an attempt to attach maybe that'd work. So please tell me what type bullets i can use.
Also if you can the make and the rough date it'd been produced.

    Cheers
    Oscar

This sounds like Pawn Stars. I understand the need to shoot your stuff, I might be the worst for it but some things should maybe just be exibited and not shot. I would go that way with this one.

It's NOT a S&W for starters. Which generally means don't shoot it at all, regardless of condition! Smiths are marginal in this vintage, and others are worse. If you don't mind risking the weapon (and possible injury) then just shoot the appropriate factory ammo. But that's likely a .32 rimfire, so there are few choices!

Probably even harder to find obsolete rimfire handgun ammo in Englandicon, too!

    Belgian? 1880-1910?

I would be interested to see some details (proof marks, hammer and recoil plate area. It looks like one of the innumerable Belgian revolvers of the late 19th century. I have shot older and worse-looking. But only with black powder! And after very careful inspection and refurbishment.

Hands off if you do not have considerable experience.
The warning from jmoore is appropriate.
