    M-14 problem

happened a couple years ago while hunting - after I got into my stand and as I was loading my 14 the charge arm came off the bolt - it went back on and I used the rifle - question is did something come loose and get lost that holds these together or is something wore out

Do you mean it came out of the track? If so your tab could be worn. That's a relatively easy fix. You get the tab built up with weld. There are several people to do this work, you don't just have a "guy" do it. It's precision work.
