Remington O2-A3 Like New Missing a Part!

I just purchased a Remingington O3-A3, Serial 4,057,xxx and barrel date 10-43. It is like new not arsensal refinished. I forgot to notice there was no front bayonet band! Anyone know a source for a minty blued, stamp band and screw?

I did a quick search in eBay and found some Remington bands.
M1903/A3 SPRINGFIELD PART, UPPER BAND | eBay

M1903/A3 SPRINGFIELD PART, UPPER BAND | eBay

    They will probably need re-blueing.

    And some supposedly "new" screws.

M-1903A3 Springfield Rifle Upper Band Screw Blued | eBay

U.S. SPRINGFIELD 1903A3 UPPER BAND SCREW - BLUED - ORIGINAL USGI - UNISSUED! | eBay

The stuff I saw at eGuns was repro and probably junk.

You might want to check Gunbroker, etc.

He'll probably have one around. I think he's only open three days a week and I don't remember which, but give him a call. He's nice and his prices are usually pretty good.

You can also email Bill Ricca and check to see if he has a blued one around. Bill is a member here and he's a good guy too. Go to Bill Ricca's Home Page and click the link at the bottom of the page to get to his email.
