    J&B Bore Bright

I was at the range yesterday and the guy a ways down from me had an older Remington 870 with a vintage WWII era sniper scope on it. First time he had it out. He put enough rounds through it to heat up the barrel, then used a jag and patches and ran them through the bore about sixty times using J&B bore bright stuff. He showed me the before and after results after he did that.

The accuracy improvement was simply astounding.

He put three shots in virtually the same hole at 100 yards after J&B treatment.

What's your experience with this stuff? Sure worked wonders for that guy and his older rifle.

Now was this a Remington 870 shotgun or was it a Remington rifle?

Rifle...sorry if I used the wrong name. It was a .308, an older one, beautiful wood stock set on it.
