Question On Reamer

Myself and a couple of guys were sitting around the campfire tonight talking the usual stuff when a couple of questions come up on using reamers on .30 cal rifles. Here is the question: can you use a pull through reamer on a 03/03A3 or are they really only intended for closed receiver rifles such as the M-1? And if you can use it on an 03/03A3 do you or would you use the bolt following behind the reamer as you would the M-1? Yeah I know it was a slow night, but the year has just started. some guys use a pull through reamer on Bolt action rifles,..i dont...a standard finish reamer with a long handle attachment is what i use.and lots of oil.
