    What exactly is this?

I was given two of these the other day. Who was issued with them? Unfortunately the internal labels have faded and cannot be read. The pattern is identical to the later version of the denison smock, but as you can see it is in khaki and not camo.

    Hmmmm.... interesting...

I was going to say some version of a Denison Smock...

Having jumped out of a lot of perfectly sound aircraft, the billow flap at the bottom seems to indicate that this garment was for airborne forces, although I don't know which country.

    Regards,
    Badger

    Smock ID

Try posting it on CanadianSoldier.com. The site belongs to Michael Dorosh and has a lot of extremely knowledgable collectors on it.
    Good Luck
