    Citadel m1 carbine 22lr

Evidently, these are out on the Market now. I have seen a couple of them in Gunbroker. They look pretty nice

I'm surprised with the Ruger 10-22 locking up a lot of the .22 buyers that there is a large enough market to support the R&D and manufacture. It will be interesting to see what someone says after holding , shooting, one.

Chiappa is not known for quality. I'd rather put a carbine kit on a 10/22.

I have 2 on order from my local FFL (part of a group buy). I have been waiting since last summer when I first heard about them. There have been some reported problems, but it is a NEW product, and the CS response has been OUTSTANDING from what I have read. I had 2 of the Chiappa 1911-22's one had problems with a broken ejector, that they took care of right away. Both of them served me well through several boxes of "cheap" bulk .22LR ammo. I sold them to a friend of my sons, and have not had any complaints.
We will see what the story is when my order comes in. I will post pics and complete range report. Order expected to arrive around June.

They might do well - I have two Erma made .22's and they're a blast to shoot. They feel almost the same as a real M1icon, but you can shoot all day without breaking the bank for ammo.

I bought the first one for my son when he was about 8 years old and he loved it because it looked like one of my carbines. But he soon started shooting my carbines. The first Erma was only $200 and it came with an authentic 'C-tip' sling in good condition, so I figured the gun only cost $100. (It's funny how we can justify about any gun purchase) I used the sling on one of my collectors and put a repro on the Erma.

I bought the second one 'Just Because' - I ran across it in the very small gun store out in the country. I figured I could use one as spare parts if ever needed, and it was just neat to see another one anyway.
