What happend to the chap that was going to make No 7 mK I parts a few months ago?

Did that project every bear fruit? A friend of mine picked up a No 7 MK I cheap and of course it lacks the magazine, bolt head and ejector side plate. Being an Enfield guy he asked me if I could help him find the missing parts. hahahaha........... Are these parts being made now or do I have to be the bearer of bad news that he has a nice wall hanger?

It is definitely the Britishicon version, as least as he described it to me.

If these known "unobtainum" parts being made, does anyone have a contact name/address/email?

    Thanks

Oh if the parts are made, does anyone know a rough idea of the cost? I am afraid he is in for a bit of a rude shock if the parts even exist.

    thanks again

Fred, I know a man who will know and answer the Q's. It's Dave N on the restorers forum! Jusdt ask him.........

It's one of those scenarios where the price is pretty well academic - within the bounds of reason because they ain't available anywhere else. But you could tell your pal not to wait until he finds someone selling/breaking a shot out No7. I've used and abused mine since 1965 and it's still as tight as a ducks ar......... er....... drum!

  5. Thank You to Peter Laidler For This Useful Post:
