    Dupage Eddystone

I see Dupage has chrome Eddystones for $450. What does anyone know about them.

The chromed rifles were usually used for displays and parades. I picked up an eddystone several years back at a good price. The chrome and varnish kind of grows on you after a while.
Chromed bayonets show up for sale every now and then. Of the five 1917s I have, the eddystone has the best barrel and muzzle. The chrome started flaking off around the muzzle on mine when I shot it.

He drives to CMPicon-South and hand picks keepers. Nice guy, but his prices have been creeping up lately.

Picked on up in great condition at the CMPicon a couple years ago. I believe it was $250 at the time. $450 seems a bit steep.
