I'd like to introduce the another one of a few Enfield collectors, who have volunteered to help us out moderating our newly created Lee Enfield Knowledge Library Collectors Forum.
Steve, alias No4Mk1(T) had his first introduction to the Lee Enfield series of rifles when he was in the CanadianSea Cadets, where he learned to shoot with the CNo.7 and FN C1. He carried a de-milled (bolts removed) No.4Mk1* in the Honor Guard and he wanted to know how it felt to shoot them, so bought one of his own and the rest is history.
He soon got the reputation as the local Enfield Nutter. Back then if you walked into a gun shop or show and said out loud you collected Enfields, people laughed at you and wanted to know why you were interested in those old junk army guns. You could have your pick of mint standard No.1 and No.4’s for $100.00. As he says, "Man how times have changed!"
So, please join me in welcoming No4Mk1(T) to the moderating team of our Lee Enfield Knowledge Library Collectors Forum.
