    NO4 S&K scope mounts

Anyone used S & K scope mounts on there NO4?. Apparently you do not have to alter your rifle in any way. Can you still remove the bolt with this mount in place?

what scope would you use on your No4, so that they do not look too out of place..........................well it will look bad no matter what, i suppose.

they are suppose to be a great setup,.............anyone help please??

    Regards, Steve

    Thumbs up

They are "no drilling and tapping". I've heard from club members that they work pretty well. Here's a pic from their web site.

I have one I keep around for accuracy testing when I’m working up a new loads. Mine has been rock solid in the past. The bolt is easily removed with the mount in place. The only issue I have with it is the scope is mounted quite high over the rifle and a cheek rest of some type is needed for proper eye alignment. As for a scope it depends what your after. If your going for a Sniper clone look for one of the older 4 power scopes like a K4. I end up using what ever I have laying around and remove it when I’m done.
