Lee Enfield No1 MkIII Stock Disc help

I recently accuired a No1 MkIII with 110rnds of 303 for about $100. It was in terrible neglected condition and had been stored in a basement, since then i have cleaned it up and made it look a whole world away from the condition it was in upon purchase. I have recently been trying to track down history on in and what I have is that it was made by BSA and has a stock ring date of 1937. The thing that is giving me trouble though is that the stock disc is very unusual. It is made of steel or aluminum instead of brass and i cannot decipher the codes on the disc. They read HILTI on the upper half of the disc and R-23 on the lower. The best guess I have is that it is a misprinted Highland infantry rifle or from sort of school. I will post pictures below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is a modern washer made by HILTI. R-23 washer used to affix wire mesh,etc. No military association.

Well that was all i needed to know there. thanks for the input. does anyone know if the disc you can fing on ebay or on liberty tree collectors website are genuine or not?

Some are and some aren't. I'd rather have a repro that's clean, than an original with some marking that doesn't match the rifle. There's lots of good repros out that will look perfect. With screw...

Thanks for the advicee jim that makes alot more sense than just buying some random thing that doesnt match the rifle
