RIP soldier, brave men and women like you gave me the freedom I have today.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

I hate to see any of them go, it's like we know them personally now. I've lost enough friends, one more is almost too much...
    Regards, Jim

The book and series were a fitting tribute to those men I would encourage anyone who has not read the book or seen the series to do both.Odd how reading a book and watching a movie can make their passing seem such a personal loss. RIP Joseph Lesniewski and all those who have proceeded him.
Sergeant Mike Ranney, "I cherish the memories of a question my grandson asked me the other day when he said, 'Grandpa, were you a hero in the war?' Grandpa said 'No… but I served in a company of heroes.'"
