    Attachment 34195Attachment 34196My great uncle, Petty Officer Richard H. Jose 236246, had this pocket bible while serving on the H.M.S. Defence. He had sent his bible to his mother in Cornwall. The H.M.S. Defence was lost on May 31, 1916 with all officers and men
