Those long Winter nights will simply fly by.....!

All these posts on No4 rear sights, together with a little tidying up of my garage prior to having a Belfast sink fitted in there (to facilitate cleaning up woodwork) revealed these. As some of you know already, I am retiring soon, but I'm heartened to know I won't be short of any restoration work..........It's a two gallon bucket about one third full.

    Title with apologies to Blackadder.

No No....it's two thirds empty!!!! :-)##
Roger...You will wonder how you ever found time to go to work once you do retire..... You will wonder where the time goes. Once you are fully retired, you will find that life is like a roll of toilet tissue...the closer to the end the faster it goes!!!
    One who knows!!!!!

That's exactly correct. I am retired for over a year and am considering a job for two days a week so I can get some rest. The ," honey do", list keeps growing. It is difficult to avoid that tendency of a former PM of Canadaicon, not to do anything today that can be put off until tomorrow.

    DPL,
I was only telling (boring!) one of my patients with the story this morning........she asked me why on earth I was retiring early & 'surely you'll get bored??'
