I don't think you can get more off topic than this!

My best friend in Poland just called me to let me know she gave birth to a healthy baby girl. She lives in Krakow and is one of the nicest people you can imagine. She sounded exhausted and the baby was 15 days overdue.

Her husband is a Captain in the Polish Army (Commando) and a super neat guy. If you met him I think most would have a difficult time imagining him in such a role. Obviously he is skilled and also has his paratrooper wings. As someone who did some jumps as a civi I had a great time visiting with him. He came home from his second tour in Afghanastan a few months ago.

They spent their honeymoon in Canadaicon in May 2011 and I took them around BC and AB. It was Ivonne's second visit to Canada but her husband Matt's first. They really love Canada and I did my best to try to convince her to move here before she met Matt.

I am posting this as I really am excited, two great people who now have a child to raise and they will be great parents.

Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

No but I have a very good friend who's family is Polish and I have seen his sister and many photos of others. Food is good also they often have some Fedexed in from Chicago for special occations. When we were kids he had a bumper sticker on his car "Its Exciting to be Polish". Nice folks.
