    Std Pro Nothing fancy

Basic Std Pro. Dinged up stock and hand guard, S-HB with S-S3 butplate. 222450X ser.# dbl stamp. 2-44 Underwood barrel, unmarked type 2. EMQ bolt. SW hammer and sear. R marked trigger? Usual upgrades and mixed parts. Used but not abused and a good shooter. GK

Nice gun, my Standard Products is really close to yours in serial number. Mine is just a little later in serial number range and has an Underwood 3-44 barrel on it.

I like it! Two questions: Why does it look like there's a "gap" in the coils on the hammer spring, and what's the marking on that hardback magazine? That stock is beautiful compared to the S-HB that's on my "Big 5" IBM.

    Thanks, Bob

USGI; the gap is because the spring is bent, that is the way I got it. The Hardback mags are unused and marked SEY. The stock was a $30. special, dinged up and nasty. I steamed it to death and got most of the dings out and washed a lot of old oil out. Reoil and good to go.Note, front site is unmarked type 2. GK

    I want an SP

Before you change any parts, I'd check BQs excellent CC issue on SPs. They used a lot of transferred parts. That gun might be right as rain.

Thanks everyone; The only thing I changed was the stock and handguard. Other than that I'm just enjoying it along with my M1a1.GK
