I got from a friend this old P-38 box.
I would like to know if it is pre-WWII or post-WWII.
Can you please give me also and indication of its market value ?

Looks like an early war commercial box. Since you didn't show the box ends, I presume there are no labels.
As for value, I have one that I got many yrs ago for very little $. Now days - ?.
