Yesterday my dad and I did a little shooting. It was hotter than blazes so it wasn't a super long shooting session but it was still fun. First we shot his Auto-Ordnance .45. It's a very comfortable pistol to shoot but the sights on it are horrid. It hits about 6" low at 10 yards. No jokeStill, it was fun shooting it. Then I brought out my Winchester M1917. I had picked this rifle up almost 2 years ago and never got around to shooting it. Well, that was rectifed. I was very pleased with it. The action is so very smooth and I found the sights to be dead on at 100 yards using 150gr Sellier & Bellot and Remington ammo. I was getting 4" groups and my dad was getting 3" groups. I am positive this rifle is capable of even better groups with some practice.
