Mike, welcome to the site. Milsurps is happy to have you here and sharing your M1icon rifle. Don't worry about the fellas. They mean well and you will probably not run into a better and more knowledgeable crew.

Just FYI, we do have some tutorials on picture taking of weapons. Please enjoy the site and thank you for your membership.

We spend most of our time here helping restore military surplus rifles to spec. You appear, and want your ego petted for doing the exact opposite. Decide what you want to do and do it. It's not bad, it's sporterised. And that's that. Hope it shoots like a house on fire...
    Regards, Jim

Attachment 35351Well,that is the first useful advise I got on here(MAYBE the secound???) I could tell from the sight title that you ONLY delt in EXACT originals right off the bat???? ("MILSURPS" describes all.) Restoring a rifle to "specs" DOES NOT constitute anything worth shooting.I DO NOT need my ego "petted".You would be upset with yourself when yours could not shoot sub M.O.A at 200 yds with mine.

I bid a farewell! I will take my "sporterized"(spelled with a "Z" in my post) MC -1 serial # 1,XXX,XXX (NOT an M-1C mount!!!) To "B.A.R",It is bad!!!! Sorry I ened up here on this sight.I was originally looking for the BEST sight for military rifles.I will keep looking,I guess???

To Bill Hollinger, thank you for your nice acceptance. Seriously. NRA,You can NOW stop staring at my feet, and at the reciever !!!!!!
