    don't know if this is the correct place for this post but,
    was watching an old episod of COMBAT last night titled[anavrsary] and telly was a french resisant fighter and was using a nice Walther G43. great show.---charles

    I watch old episodes of "Combat" often and noticed that almost every fire fight involves at least one Germanicon soldier shooting a G43. Not sure how common they actually were on the Western front, but it is interesting to watch.

    I watched war movies since I was a kid. It amazed me how the Germans, japs and VC always stood up to get shot. We do it in Afghanistan. gary
