A friend bought these photos a couple of weeks ago with the intention of selling them on Ebay, and brought them round to my place to show me. He made a huge mistake, knowing I am into anything Great War related, and I finally pestered him into selling the lot to me. The moment I saw them I knew I had to have them. The subject matter is incredible, one is of the Duke of Connaught reviewing American officers, two are of the BritishFirst Sea Lord reviewing American sailors. Several images of destruction in France and Belgium
, and one that is incredibly moving, British wounded being taken from a ship. The backs of all of them are marked similarly as the example I have shown, I am assuming they are British press photos. I plan on framing these, and displaying them. I have since pored over them for hours, an amazing piece of history to me. Wanted to share, thanks!
