    Super sloppy carbine

Need ideas on what to check for...... a very loose .....wiggle everywhere magazine...
Jams soft points always and LC mil at least 1 out of 15 rounds?...It is not the mags they all feed perfect in my other carbine.....Not the ammo...Works perfect in my other carbine....
It has a 30 round mag release.....What to check?...Twice as much wiggle as my other carbine...Just need to know what to look for...

    Thanks Charlie

Perhaps a small shim washer between the Trigger Housing and the receiver

to take up the side to side play?

Since you have already determined the magazine is not faulty, the very next thing I would check is try the "working" magazine release from your "working" carbine in your "nonworking" one. If no difference, the next thing I'd check, again swap, is the safety-magazine catch spring-with-two-knobs doohickey - may not be holding the catch properly in the trigger housing

Sure sounds like the trigger housing needs to be tightened up, plus look at the mag catch as above.

Try the trigger guard assembly from the carbine that feeds in the one that doesn't

The trigger housing should be so tight on the receiver, that a bump or two is needed to take it off. If the hammer is down on the bolt and you remove the trigger housing pin, the trigger housing should not slide/jump back and off. If so, tighten the groove on the trigger housing. Do not do anything to the receiver.
