He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose
There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.
Are all three in firing position lefties? Nice Kelly helmet in pic 2.
I think I see the cocking handle on the forward "Lefty " Garand.
Chris
Blowing up that photo I still can't be positive.
Further review I'd tend to agree the photo is reversed, no canteen visible on the left. Also looks like the denim guys are the Op Force, picture 3 shows another gas trap and a 1903, these pre-war Garand photo's show the SS gas cylinder quite well, they hadn't had the molten dichromate black finish perfected yet.

In phot 1 they are wearing denim fatigues as well.
It looks reversed to me. Gas trap in that last one also. I think. Well, the first one for sure. The second no, it's a right handed position, and the third one could possibly be flipped, but no way to tell, I don't think.
Duh, last one is not because of the bolt. I thought you meant all three pictures but I see you meant the three guys in the first one. I'm pretty sure it's flipped.
