mauser 98 when was it made

I have gotten a fine 98 Mauser. This has the nicest finish I have ever seen. Seems to be blued and covered in grease. It was made by Mauser serial number B92xx. I cant seem to find a date when it was made. The weird part is on the side stamped is standard model . Just something seems weird and was wondering if anyone had any idea about this rifle. I plan on cleaning it up and then warming it up. Thanks to all for your help cgillette

Pics, or it didnt happen! Always like to get a gander at a nice Standard Modell! The Germanicon Condor Legion used these during the SCW, as I've been led to believe. Let's see 'er!

Standard Modell? 1933/1935(?) production. Nicely made rifles.
