    H. Boker trench knife

I was looking for info. on Boker knives and found Homerweb.com had one for sale for 2248.00 dollars.it is in nearly mint condition but had no scabbard. It is the double tang version. I have one that is very good condition with an m8 scabbard. There were only 31000 made. I have never seen any for sale and am wondering if they really bring that price. I paid 20 dolars for mine, at a flea market, but did not know what it was until I got it home, the man said he wanted 20 and I saw it was a trench knife so I did not argue.

Bokers still make the M3 trench knife new. Sadly it's made in China now. UKicon price is about £85.00.
However you do have a luckey find every now and then. Some one donated a Camillus M3, double rivett to my collection . I tried to return it when I found out how much they sell for and was told to keep it!
There are web sites in the USAicon which show markings and stampings in close up. These sites also show the fakes. I paid £65 for a modern Onterio M3 and £60 for the Eickhorn version.
USD20.00 for a Boker M3 is good value. Bokers made approx one fifth of the M3 knives supplied during WW2.

    Well done..... Lester
